Wholebean:
Grind at home and dial in your optimal grind setting for different brew styles.

Espresso / Moka Pot:
A fine to medium-fine grind, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. It’s also an excellent choice for filling your Nespresso® reusable pods at home.

Filter / AeroPress:
Medium grind, spot-on for V60, flat-bottom drippers, and AeroPress brews.

Cafetiere:
Coarser grind, perfect for a smooth french press cup.

The Origin Story

The Producer

Wayfarer Roast is the work of three coffee-growing cultures. In Brazil’s Sul de Minas, estates like those of the Gabarra family produce chocolate-toned coffees with a strong focus on sustainability and biodiversity. El Salvador’s Apaneca-Ilamatepec region contributes family-run farms connected to the Blue Harvest project, where careful water stewardship and shade-grown practices are central to their work. From India’s Malabar coast, producers grow Arabica among spice plantations and tropical forest, an origin with centuries of coffee heritage yet still under appreciated in the specialty world.

The Land

This blend stretches from Brazil’s red-soil highlands to El Salvador’s volcanic slopes and India’s humid coastal hills. Minas Gerais brings gentle undulating terrain and a mild climate, Apaneca offers rich volcanic soil and high elevation, and Malabar’s monsoonal environment imparts an earthy character — three distinct terroirs converging into a single profile.

The Craft

Wayfarer Roast blends these origins for balance and approachability. Brazilian coffees provide a steady chocolate base, Salvadoran beans lift the profile with gentle fruit and sweetness, and Indian lots add body and spice-like undertones. Crafted for versatility, it performs beautifully across espresso and filter, suited for daily rituals and adventurous palates alike.

18g in • 36g out • fine grind • 26–30 s extraction for sweet, full-bodied shot

Aeropress

16g coffee • 200g water just off boil • medium‑fine grind • 10g water 5s bloom, then 190g water stir 5s • 30s slow press at 1:30 until hiss

Moka Pot

16g coffee • 110g water • medium-fine grind • remove at first gurgle for caramel depth

French Press

30g coffee • 480g water • coarse grind • 4 min steep • break crust and plunge gently for smooth chocolate body

V60

20g coffee • 320g water • medium grind • 45 s bloom at 2x dose • total brew ~2:45 for balanced sweetness
