Grind Info

Wholebean:
Grind at home and dial in your optimal grind setting for different brew styles.

Espresso / Moka Pot:
A fine to medium-fine grind, perfect for espresso machines and moka pots. It’s also an excellent choice for filling your Nespresso® reusable pods at home.

Filter / AeroPress:
Medium grind, spot-on for V60, flat-bottom drippers, and AeroPress brews.

Cafetiere:
Coarser grind, perfect for a smooth french press cup.

The Origin Story

The Producer

Drift Peak is built from two iconic origins. In Brazil’s Sul de Minas, estates like Fazenda Pinhal are known for sustainable practices and chocolate-forward coffees. In El Salvador’s Apaneca region, smallholder farmers grow Bourbon and Pacamara varietals under shade trees, often as part of the Blue Harvest initiative that supports water conservation and reforestation.

The Land

Brazil’s gently rolling highlands meet El Salvador’s volcanic Apaneca range in this blend. The Brazilian side contributes fertile red soils and mild weather, while El Salvador offers cooler mountain air and rich volcanic terrain — two environments united by their ability to produce sweet, balanced coffees.

The Craft

Drift Peak is blended for smoothness and approachability, inspired by the balance of Jamaica’s famed Blue Mountain profile. Brazilian beans provide a soft chocolate base, while Salvadoran coffees bring honeyed sweetness and a touch of brightness. It’s a cup made for steady mornings and long journeys — mellow yet quietly complex.

Espresso

18g in • 36g out • fine grind • 26–30 s extraction for balanced honey-plum shot

Aeropress

16g coffee • 200g water just off boil • medium‑fine grind • 10g water 5s bloom, then 190g water stir 5s • 30s slow press at 1:30 until hiss

Moka Pot

16g coffee • ~110g water • medium-fine grind • remove at first gurgle for honey sweetness

French Press

30g coffee • 480g water • coarse grind • 4 min steep • break crust and skim for cleaner cup

V60

20g coffee • 320g water • medium grind • 45 s bloom at 2x dose • total brew ~2:40 for soft plum clarity
