The Origin Story

Caminho Dusk begins with farmers across Minas Gerais, Brazil’s most celebrated coffee heartland. Many of these growers are multi‑generational families tending small plots, where coffee is as much tradition as livelihood. Their dedication to quality extends even to decaf lots, ensuring no compromise in cultivation or care.

Set around 1,200 meters in the rolling highlands of Minas Gerais, the farms benefit from fertile red soil and a steady subtropical climate. This region is famed for producing Brazil’s most balanced coffees, where soft sweetness and clean profiles naturally thrive in the landscape’s gentle hills and valleys.

Caminho Dusk is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, a chemical‑free method that preserves the integrity of the Mundo Novo and Catuaí varietals. This careful approach retains the essence of Minas Gerais coffee — its soft body, natural sweetness, and connection to the land — offering a cup that tells the origin’s story without the caffeine.

Brew Recipes

Caminho Dusk Decaf precision cups:

18g in • 36g out • fine grind • 26–30 s extraction for smooth chocolate shot

16g coffee • 200g water just off boil • medium‑fine grind • 10g water 5s bloom, then 190g water stir 5s • 30s slow press at 1:30 until hiss

16g coffee • 110g water • medium-fine grind • remove at first gurgle for smooth chocolate balance

30g coffee • 480g water • coarse grind • 4 min steep • break crust and skim for rounded body

20g coffee • 320g water • medium grind • 45 s bloom • total brew ~2:45 for balanced sweetness
